TAXES & FEES: Our dealership is located in Ventura, California. The state of California requires a smog-check and a safety inspection. The smog and safety inspections are included in the fees associated with your vehicle purchase as outlined in the FEES section of our Terms and Conditions. We are also obligated to collect sales tax and registration for any vehicle that is physically driven in the state of California subsequent to the sales transaction. We will coordinate collection and submission of the registration and sales tax on vehicles that are being sold to residents of any state outside California. The following fees are non-negotiable and are above and beyond the selling price of the vehicle. All vehicles are subject to a $200 dealer service fee. This fee includes the vehicle preparation, detailing, smog inspection, smog certification, dealer documentation fee, temporary tags, postage, Fed-Ex, eBay fees and airport transportation. All cars sold to customers in the state of California are subject to mandatory sales tax based on the county and city in which the vehicle will be registered and titled. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell it to any other qualified buyer.
6. PAYMENTS & PURCHASE COMPLETION:
The winning bidder must contact us by email or phone within 24 hours at the auction close to arrange payment. A $750 deposit is also due within 24 hours of the auction close, to be paid via Pay Pal, wire transfer, or in person by cash, or personal check. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE unless the vehicle has been grossly misrepresented or if the vehicle fails to pass a professional inspection. When the deposit has been submitted, “Buyers” must fax a copy of their valid, state-issued driver’s license.
The remaining balance is due within 7-days of the auction close by way of wire-transfer, bank funding, in person by cash or personal check. Personal checks and all other funding sources must clear our bank before vehicle delivery can take place. We DO NOT ACCEPT third party checks. We also do not accept credit cards or pay pal for an amount over $3,000. Before the vehicle is released for shipment to the “Buyer”, all sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned completed to the “Seller”.
7. TAXES & FEES:
Our dealership is located in Ventura, California. The state of California requires a smog-check and a safety inspection. The smog and safety inspections are included in the fees associated with your vehicle purchase as outlined in the FEES section of our Terms and Conditions. We are also obligated to collect sales tax and registration for any vehicle that is physically driven in the state of California subsequent to the sales transaction. We will coordinate collection and submission of the registration and sales tax on vehicles that are being sold to residents of any state outside California. The following fees are non-negotiable and are above and beyond the selling price of the vehicle. All vehicles are subject to a $200 dealer service fee. This fee includes the vehicle preparation, detailing, smog inspection, smog certification, dealer documentation fee, temporary tags, postage, Fed-Ex, eBay fees and airport transportation.
All cars sold to customers in the state of California are subject to mandatory sales tax based on the county and city in which the vehicle will be registered and titled. As a licensed California dealership, we are REQUIRED to process registration for California residents. The registration fees vary by vehicle and will be detailed after an arrangement is reached. Sales tax and registration fees are above and beyond the dealer service fee listed above. For states other than California, “Buyer” is responsible not only for knowing their own states’ laws regarding taxes and fees, but also remitting the proper taxes, fees, and documents for their state. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for the vehicle to be titled and registered.
8. TITLE:
Vehicle titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans.
In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments of up to 21 days from the time we pay the vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. We run a CarFax Vehicle History report on every vehicle that we offer to sale. We will disclose any known defects in the auction description. We will NEVER sell a Salvage Title of Flood Damage vehicle. All of our vehicles will go through a professional safety inspection and will be cleared for sale prior to being listed on eBay.
9. SHIPPING & DELIVERY:
The Buyer is fully responsible for picking up the vehicle and any related shipping costs. Please make sure to contact us BEFORE you arrange pickup so that we may set up a mutually convenient date and time with you.
We will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage! Licensed “Carriers” are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements provided by us are strictly a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicle will be between you and the “Carrier” and not with us.
The amount of time it takes for delivery depends upon the “Carrier” selected. A typical experience is 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the “Carrier” for an estimated Time of Arrival to be sure. Please make sure that all financial matters have been cleared prior to arranging a pick –up time for your vehicle, all funds MUST be cleared before we will release a car to a carrier. If you are flying in, we provide a courtesy pick up from one of our local airports and bring you to the dealership.

Both parties agree that in relation to any transactions involving this vehicle, the proper venue for any legal proceedings will be Ventura California. All dealer obligations will be facilitated in Ventura, California and this vehicle will be delivered F.O.B. Ventura, California. All financial obligations will be payable in Ventura, California. Gold Coast Acura reserves the right to obtain and verify the registered information of all users who bid on this auction, cancel any and all bids at our discretion, or end the auction early if necessary. You will receive 100% refund of your money provided if the vehicle is in the same condition when we receive it back as it was when we shipped it.
